Site Audits

Do You Need A Health & Safety Site Audit?

A Health and Safety Audit is an inspection of your business’ health and safety systems including policies and procedures.

These assessments of your health and safety performance can provide you with:

Can We Conduct a Health & Safety Audit Ourselves?

Yes, audits can be conducted internally or externally. However, H&S Audits must be carried out by a competent person, with appropriate qualifications such as a NEBOSH Certificate. The auditor should also be independent to the part of the organisation being audited.

External health and safety auditors, such as Gaskell Safety’s Consultants, give impartial inspections that are conducted in line with best practices.

What About The Costs?

You only pay for time, from documenting evidence to writing the report, there are no hidden charges or costs.

This will vary from business to business depending on the size and complexity of your business and current management systems.

At Gaskell Safety we have the skills and expertise to audit even the biggest of sites.

Every employer is required under the Management of Health & Safety Regulations 1999 to appoint at least one Competent Health and Safety Person to assist them to meet their legal health and safety obligations.
